The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m2 or simply g).
PAPER WEIGHT
Value 150gsm (paper) - A cheap flyer printing option for businesses that don’t want to scrimp on quality. Lightweight paper that is ideal for bulk flyer printing on a budget, takeaway menus, large quantity handouts for shows and club advertising.
Premium 300gsm (card) - This thick stock gives the impression of luxury and lasts a long time. Twice as thick as our 150gsm apper option, 300gsm is perfect for for high-quality long-term marketing events.
Silk Coated – Our silk coated paper has a slight sheen which gives your print a colourful vibrant and crisp appearance. You’ll notice that the majority of leaflets and flyers are printed on this type of stock as well as brochures and promotional material.
Uncoated – Uncoated paper is quite absorbent, meaning the colours will appear more muted than on silk paper. Because of this, uncoated flyers are best suited to bold minimalist designs with plenty of white space. Uncoated is great when adding a handwriting as the paper allows pen ink to dry quickly on it without smudging so perfect for office stationery.
100% Recycled – Recycled paper has very similar qualites to the uncoated paper option. A more natural uncoated white paper which can make colours and images softer and less vibrant.

Printing
Commercial print presses achieve colours by combining cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks to produce colours on a white background. It makes sense then that CMYK files are used to prepare artwork for print.
RGB picture files are ideal for devices that reproduce coloured images via a light source such as electronic screens and projectors. That’s why all RGB files that are presented for print end up getting converted to CMYK. However, because RGB covers a broader gamut of colours than CMYK, some shades will be compromised during conversion. This is particularly true for vivid oranges and greens.
Regardless of whether you submit your artwork as an RGB or CMYK file, all files will be converted to CMYK before going to print. So to be sure we accurately represent your artwork correctly, we recommend you convert your file to CMYK and view it on a high-quality monitor prior to submission
300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.
We use a combination of digital printing and offset printing depending on the quantity ordered.
All our printing is of the highest quality you would expect from a professional printer.
Miscellaneous
We strive to achieve the closest possible color match for your artwork. Yet, exact replication isn't always guaranteed due to factors like texture, finish, and material type used in the project, which may impact the colors on the final printed product.
Images may appear blurry in print due to low resolution, resulting in pixelation. To address this issue, use an image with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
